Cargo + Bulk Density
The same tank volume does not carry the same weight of every powder. This affects tank size and usable payload.
Compare the setup behind the price.
We quote the tank, axles, pneumatic unloading system, components and shipping scope as one working package.
Current Panda Mech product pages show selected 30–60 ton cement tanker starting prices from about USD 12,800 to USD 19,900. The final number depends on the exact setup. Online search results also mix new and used equipment, so condition must be checked first. Tank volume, payload, axles, material, pneumatic system, component brands and shipping terms can all change the quote.
A low online price may be for an older used trailer, a different tank material, a smaller pneumatic package or a different trade term. Before you compare numbers, make sure you are comparing the same type of equipment.
| Check This First | Why It Changes the Price | What Panda Mech Quotes |
|---|---|---|
| New or used | Age, wear, remaining service life and repair history can change value by a large amount. | New factory-built cement tanker trailers. |
| Cargo duty | Cement, mineral powder and food powder do not use the same design, material or cleaning requirements. | Industrial non-food pneumatic tanker setups on this page. |
| Tank capacity | Compare the same tank volume. A smaller or larger tank changes material use, tare and payload planning. | Volume and payload are stated separately. |
| Steel or aluminum | Material changes tare weight, corrosion behavior, fabrication and repair cost. | Tank-shell and structural materials are confirmed separately. |
| Axles and running gear | Axle count, axle rating, suspension, tires and brakes can change both price and legal fit. | We match the running gear to the route and weight plan. |
| Compressor included? | Some prices cover only the trailer. Others include the pneumatic unloading package. | The compressor and power source are listed in the quotation scope. |
| Engine or PTO | An independent diesel package adds hardware. A tractor power take-off setup depends on tractor compatibility. | We confirm the selected power arrangement before final pricing. |
| Working / test pressure | Different pneumatic and pressure requirements can change system design, testing and cost. | Approved working and test requirements are tied to the final engineering setup. |
| Component brands | Axles, tires, valves, landing gear and other branded components can create a real price gap. | The agreed brands or performance level are stated in the quote. |
| FOB, CIF or local price | Freight, insurance, import charges, tax and local delivery may or may not be included. | The trade term is stated so you know what the number includes. |
This is the current published range on Panda Mech’s 50-ton product page. It is a budget reference, not an automatic final quote.
We use this 50-ton setup as a common starting point for cement plants, transport fleets and regular dry-bulk work. We still check your legal weight limits and unloading conditions before production.
These figures come from the current Panda Mech model pages. Starting price is not a simple size ladder. A larger trailer can show a lower entry price if the listed component package is different.
| Model | Supply Type | Starting Price | Current Published Range | Best Starting Point For | Product Page |

Panda Mech normally states tank volume in cubic meters (m³), also written as CBM. Many North American dry-bulk listings use cubic feet (ft³). Convert the units before comparing tank capacity.
Quick reference: 1 m³ ≈ 35.3 ft³. A 40 m³ tank is about 1,413 ft³, and a 50 m³ tank is about 1,766 ft³.
We do not quote from tonnage alone. We start with the cargo and the job. Then we work forward to the trailer and pneumatic system.
A useful quote connects the price to the work the trailer must do. These six groups explain most price differences.
The same tank volume does not carry the same weight of every powder. This affects tank size and usable payload.
Higher payload and larger volume use more material. They can also change tank structure and tare weight.
Running gear means the axles, suspension, tires and brakes. Their count, rating and setup must match the route and legal weight plan.
Steel grade, tank-shell material, structural material and thickness affect weight, fabrication and cost.
Compressor, engine or PTO, valves, pipe layout and unloading duty can change both purchase and operating cost.
Component brands, documentation, shipping protection, freight, import costs and quantity all affect the final buying number.
More capacity, more axles or a more expensive material are not automatically better. We recommend them when the job gives you a clear reason.
| Setup | Choose This When | Choose Another Option When | What We Confirm First |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 Axle 50 Ton / 40 CBM | Mainstream cement transport where 50-ton class and 3 axles fit the route. | Local GVW or axle limits do not support the target payload. | Country, legal weight, road, tractor and unloading conditions. |
| 4 Axle Heavy-Duty Setup | Axle-load planning, route stability or heavy-duty work justifies the extra running gear. | You only want more axles because “more must be better.” | Legal axle load, route, tare and target payload. |
| Aluminum Tank Shell | Lower tare or better corrosion resistance gives a real operating benefit. | The only goal is the lowest purchase price and weight saving has little value. | Tank-shell material, structural material, corrosion environment and repair support. |
| PTO-Driven Air System | Your tractor can power the unloading system and compatibility is confirmed. | Tractor PTO or driveline details are unknown. | Tractor model, PTO output and required pneumatic duty. |
| Independent Diesel Package | You want the trailer to unload without depending on tractor PTO. | Your project already has a suitable air source or PTO strategy. | Unloading duty, service access and fuel/maintenance plan. |
An aluminum tank shell usually costs more at the start. Its lower weight can be useful when legal payload matters. Steel is usually easier to buy and repair. The right answer depends on your route and operating conditions.
| Factor | Steel Tank Shell | Aluminum Tank Shell |
|---|---|---|
| Initial price | Usually lower | Usually higher |
| Tare weight | Usually higher | Usually lower |
| Legal payload opportunity | Can be lower where GVW is tight | Can improve when lower tare creates legal payload room |
| Corrosion | Depends on coating and maintenance | Often better in corrosion-prone environments |
| Repair support | Generally easier to find | Needs more specialized aluminum repair capability |
A pneumatic cement tanker uses compressed air to move powder out of the tank. A bigger compressor is not automatically better. We match the air system to the actual unloading job.
FOB and CIF divide delivery, transport cost and risk in different ways. They are not the same as a final landed price.
Under Incoterms® 2020, the seller delivers the goods on board the buyer-nominated vessel at the named port of shipment. Risk transfers to the buyer once the goods are on board.
The seller arranges and pays the agreed freight and insurance to the named destination port. Risk still transfers when the goods are on board at the shipment port, and local import costs can remain.
This calculator is for budget planning. The duty/tax field starts at 0%. Enter your own local estimate. Your customs authority or broker must confirm the real basis and rate.
This simplified calculator applies the percentage to equipment + options + freight + insurance. Local customs rules can use a different basis.
A low number is useful only when the technical scope is clear. We recommend putting every supplier on the same line-by-line checklist.
Use the same fields for every quotation. If one supplier leaves a field blank, ask before you compare the total.

For a working fleet, purchase price is only the first line. Payload, fuel, maintenance, pneumatic system service and downtime can change the cost of every ton you move.
Legal payload affects how much product you move per trip.
Tare, road condition and trip length affect operating cost.
Axles, tires, valves, compressor and engine service repeat over time.
A stopped trailer does not move cement. Parts support and repair access matter.
A cement plant, a transport fleet and an engineering contractor can buy the same tank size for very different reasons. We change the discussion to match the job.
We focus on unloading stability, silo height, line distance, filter/backpressure and daily throughput.
We focus on legal payload, tare, axles, tires, spare parts, maintenance and fleet standardization.
We focus on road access, jobsite conditions, unloading point, project timing and practical durability.
We focus on tractor fit, local parts, clear operating needs and a straightforward quotation.
Panda Mech has its own factory and specializes in pneumatic dry-bulk trailers. We price the trailer around the cargo, route, tractor and unloading job.
Our factory quality process covers more than 200 quality-control checks or items across production and final inspection. This is a company-level QC position, not a model-specific test certificate.
Our general baseline is 30% deposit and 70% before shipment, unless the quotation or contract says otherwise.
Production is typically 7–25 days. Trailer type, options, quantity and factory schedule can change the exact time.
Sea transit time depends on the destination and shipping schedule. We keep production time and shipping time separate.
Our target is to respond to the first inquiry within 1 hour, then confirm technical details as needed.
If you already know the payload class, go to the model page. If not, start from the cement tanker family and we can narrow it down from your cargo and route.
These answers cover the questions we normally need to settle before a price becomes useful.
Current Panda Mech product pages show selected 30–60 ton starting prices from about USD 12,800 to USD 19,900. The final quote changes with tank volume, payload design, axles, material, pneumatic unloading system, component brands and shipping terms.
Our current 3 axle 50 ton / 40 CBM product page shows USD 12,800–30,500. We confirm the final price after the component package, route, unloading duty and trade term are clear.
Starting prices come from the specific setup shown on each product page. They are not a simple price-per-ton ladder. Included components, material choices and listed options can be different.
Search results can mix new factory-built trailers, older used equipment, auction units, different tank materials, different capacities, different pneumatic packages and different trade terms. Normalize the condition and specification before you compare the price.
It depends on the quotation. We define the pneumatic package from cargo, discharge distance, silo height, target unloading time and tractor compatibility. Check the compressor, engine or PTO scope line by line.
A 3 axle setup usually has fewer running-gear parts and is a common starting point for mainstream projects. A 4 axle setup can cost more, but it may be useful when axle-load planning, route conditions or heavy-duty work justify it.
It can be. Lower tare can create more legal payload room, and aluminum can help in corrosion-prone environments. We compare that benefit with purchase price, repair support and the actual route.
Only when the agreed trade term includes it. FOB and CIF cover different parts of the export and freight process. Local import, port and delivery costs can still remain.
Send destination country, buyer type, cargo, target payload, target volume if known, quantity, road condition, tractor, silo height, horizontal discharge distance, desired unloading time, axle or suspension preference and destination port. Bulk density and local GVW or axle limits are also useful when available.
Tell us the cargo, target payload, destination, tractor and unloading conditions. Panda Mech will match a new factory-built tank, running gear and pneumatic system before we confirm the final price.
